International recycling Artist Thomas Dambo, his crew, and their magical TROLLS are coming to Detroit Lakes!
You could say it’s a GIANT project!
We know it will take the whole community to make this happen, and we’re already so grateful for everyone who has reached out!
Soon, we’ll be asking for on-site volunteers to help build trolls and work with Thomas Dambo and his crew from Denmark. Right now, though, we’re still in the planning stages and need to secure housing, vehicles, and lunches for the Danes!

Build a Troll
Want to help physically build a troll?
We need 4 – 12 volunteers daily from May 6 – June 7.

Food for 20 People
We need to provide lunch at the troll build site for the Danes each day they are here. We need food for 20 each day in re-useable / recyclable containers. (Thomas is a recycled artist and being kind to the earth is key to his work). The crew is vegetarian so they love salads, veggie wraps, meatless dishes of all sorts.
