on Little Detroit Lake

Cool Kites on the Lake 2024 flew high with delight during Polar Fest 2024 On Little Detroit Lake near West Lake Drive in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota.

This year, the event took place on two days:
Saturday, February 10th, and Sunday, February 11th.
Professional kite flyers brought their spectacular giant kites and set them in flight over Little Detroit Lake to gracefully color the skies with floating trims and pops of bright color.
Kites ranged in size from 10 to 100 feet!
