About the Bike Ride
Tour Da Lakes
There’s a distance for everyone and it’s as competitive or non-competitive as you want it to be. All routes begin and end at the Detroit Lakes High School located at 1301 Roosevelt Ave., Detroit Lakes, MN 56501.
Pre-registration is required.
Four distances to choose from – named after the lake you ride to!
• Detroit Lake – approximately 12 Miles
• Lake Sallie – approximately 21.5 Miles
• Lake Melissa – approximately 29 Miles
• Acorn Lake to Frazee + Lake Melissa – approximately 43.5 Miles*
*NEW IN 2026 » With the completion of the Heartland Trail along Highway 10, Acorn Lake all the way to Frazee, we have added the “Acorn Lake to Frazee + Lake Melissa” route/distance – approximately 43.5 Miles. (Riders for this distance MUST be able to keep a 15+ mph MINIMUM pace so that we have all participants back to DL High School well before Noon.)

Join us for a beautiful Saturday morning bike ride with friends, family or just by yourself! It’s as competitive or non-competitive as you want it to be.

Formerly the Mid-Summer Bike Tour, the Tour Da Lakes launched in the Summer of 2023!
We honor Mark Knutson with the Mark Knutson Memorial Tour Da Lakes, a Project 412 Event. Part of the proceeds will go back into the community through a donation to Project 412.
